#9 Vocal Fundamental For The Serious Singer

My husband is a professional Music Director.  In rehearsal he sometimes works with actors and dancers who don’t consider themselves good singer.  As a professional vocal coach, I work with dancers and actors who have decided to address their singing and audition material.  Yet, there are a lot of dancers and actors who don’t train to sing.  As of today, there are 21 musicals on Broadway and four Off-Broadway.  There two plays on Broadway and one Off-Broadway.  According to today’s production docket, 91% of Broadway productions are musicals and 80% of Off-Broadway productions are musicals.  Regional theatres vary in their percentages, but musicals continue to be popular and reap high box office revenue.  Actors and dancers what do you need to do?  Check out this video.
